Aurangzeb

Since childhood, I have followed how Aurangzeb is discusssed in Western academia and Indian scholarship (Indology?), not to mention the popular consciousness of India. Which is why, when I got involved with the Wikipedia, I started taking an interest in the entry on the last of the The Great Mughals. During the course of that discussion, I had a rather interesting discussion with a person I am assuming is an Indian or an Indian-American about him. You can read the disccussion at the link below. I have to say, it was refreshing to interact with a person that took the facts/scholarship on its merits and had the guts to evolve his view of the matter:
