With so much in the air about minorities, Muslims, deportations, a lot of our minds turn to internment--or, to use the correct word, concentrating--of populations you want to keep an eye on "our country's representatives can figure out what is going on". The different roles and attitudes that people take on in a charged situation like this is interesting. And then the idea sparked of the irony of legal immigrants and naturalized citizens often being in a tougher place than that other type of immigrants…and I had a topic.
